Regulator Selection Guide by Gas Service
As a starting point, our technical team has prepared the list below showing some good choices for a given gas service and purity level. Many customers will find that these recommendations work well for their application. However, application needs vary and your application may have special requirements such as unusually high/low delivery pressures or flow rates. For this reason, before accepting these recommendations, please confirm that the specifications of the regulator recommended below meets all the needs of your specific application.
Note: Some regulator types have no recommendations shown. This is because there was no appropriate general recommendation to be made. As an example, many liquefied gases have low cylinder pressures, and do not experience significant pressure decay over the life of the cylinder, and so a dual-stage regulator would offer little or no advantage.
