The 52A Series Manual Packed-Stem Control Valve with Gauge has been specifically designed for use with gases supplied in high pressure cylinders (3000 psi maximum). This valve functions as a metering valve and is a rough control for dispensing gas products from cylinders. It does not control pressure or back-pressure in a gas delivery system. If greater accuracy is required for the application, Matheson recommends the use of the appropriate regulator listed in the Regulator Section. The 52A Series Packed-Stem Manual Control Valve with Gauge should be used with gases compatible with the valve's materials of construction.
