The Model 400 Series Check Valves prevent the reverse flow of gas and thus keep foreign matter out of gas lines, regulators and cylinders ahead of the valve. The valves are spring loaded with a positive stop to prevent over-stressing of the spring by sudden surges in gas pressure. An o-ring at the valve seat ensures quick and efficient sealing. The valve has a one-piece body which is available in brass, stainless steel and Monel; and is easily disassembled for cleaning. This valve is designed for operation with pressures up to 3000 psig with a cracking pressure of approximately 1 psig.
