The 7510A Series Acetylene Regulator incorporates a unique design which will shut off flow when the cylinder pressure decreases to 85 psig.  When the head pressure in the acetylene cylinder drops to 70 psig, acetone will enter the gas stream which can damage your atomic absorption spectrometer.

Do you have cylinder holders and carts? Cylinders should be properly secured at all times. Movement of cylinders should only be done with care using approved cylinder handling equipment.
